Burpee Box Jumps
Full Body, Cardio, Legs
1. Stand in front of a box.
2. Bend down to put your hands on the floor and jump your feet out behind you into a standard push-up position.
3. Do one standard push-up.
4. Jump your feet back in close to your hands and lift your chest up to face the box.
5. From this squat position, jump both feet onto the box.
6. Land with bent knees in a squat position, and then stand straight up.
7. Bend your knees, and jump backward off of the box.
8. Land in a squat position.
9. From this position, we can repeat the entire exercise.
- Keep your chest up and core engaged.
- For the push-up, keep your elbows in close to your sides.
- Always land through your toes with soft knees.
- Make sure to land in a squat on the box, and then stand all the way up. This will complete the full rep. If you do not stand all the way up, you will not have completed the full movement.
- You can step down from the box one foot at a time if jumping backward is something your are uncomfortable with.
