Burpee Step Ups

Full Body, Cardio, Legs

1. Stand in front of a box or bench.
2. Bend down to put your hands on the floor and jump your feet out behind you into a standard push-up position.
3. Do one standard push-up.
4. Jump your feet back in close to your hands, and stand straight up.
5. Raise one foot onto the box.
6. Press out of your raised foot in order to stand up onto the box.
7. Keep the same foot on the box as your lower the other foot back to the ground.
8. Repeat the entire exercise, but use the opposite leg to step up.
- Push out of your heel in order to activate your glutes during the step up.
- Keep your chest up and core engaged.
- Control the movement, specifically on the way back down from the box. We want to land with through our toes with soft knees.
- For the push-up, keep your elbows in close to your sides.
