Cable External Rotation
Shoulders
- This is a great way to isolate your rotator cuff.
- This movement is all about control. We need to focus on every inch of this movement in order to get the most out of the exercise.
- With the cable in a middle position (about waist height), grab the handle with the opposite hand.
- Keeping our elbow stable and into our side, we externally rotate the cable as if it was on a door hinge.
- Do not use any momentum and let the entire movement come from your shoulder. We are isolating a very important stabilizing muscle.
