Calf Raises
Calves
1. Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart.
2. Push up onto the balls of your feet.
3. At the peak of the movement, engage and squeeze your calf muscles.
4. Lower back down to the flat foot standing position.
- You can hold on to something to help with your balance.
- Push on to the balls of your feet (Pressure should be on the joint connecting your big toe and your foot). Do not roll your feet or push on the outside of your feet to raise up.
- Keep your chest up and core engaged.
