Close Grip Bicep Curls
Biceps
1. Start by holding a barbell with an underhand grip and your hands close together (about 6-9 inches apart).
2. Using your biceps, curl the barbell up.
3. Slowly lower the barbell back down to the starting position.
- At the peak of the movement, feel your biceps squeeze and engage.
- Keep your core engaged and spine straight. Do not hunch forward.
- If your are doing a negative bicep curls, you curl the handles up as you normally would, but then lower the handles VERY slowly back to the starting position.
