Cross Jacks

Full Body, Cardio

- This movement and tempo is similar to your standard Jumping Jacks or In and Out Squats, however we are now incorporating our legs and core more by adding in the twist.
- As we jump out, we squat down and touch one foot with the opposite hand. Then we jump our feet back together and repeat on the other side.
- As we jump, always remember to land softly through the balls of your feet.
- As we squat, we then want to transfer the pressure to our mid-feet or heels.
- As we cross, we want the movement to come from our cores. To do this, keep your chest up and core engaged. Don't hunch over in order to reach your toes.
- Do not look down at your toes. Instead look from side to side to promote a neutral spine.
- If you cannot reach your toes, just get as low as you can without compromising form.
