Core
1. Start by lying on your back.
2. Lift your hands straight up toward the ceiling and create a table top with your legs by putting a 90 degree angle in your knees. Lift your head off the floor.
3. As you extend your right arm behind you to hover your hand above the floor, extend your left leg to hover your foot just above the floor.
4. Bring your right arm and left leg back to the starting position.
5. Repeat the exercise on the other side by extending your left arm and your right leg.
- Engage your core to stabilize and keep your head off of the floor.
- Keep your lower back on the ground.
- Don't crunch your head forward, instead, look up at the ceiling to promote a more neutral spine.
- When you extend, get your arm and leg as close to the floor as possible without touching the floor.
