Incline Dumbbell Chest Flies
Chest
- Very similar to the flat bench dumbbell chest flies, however we are now targeting our upper chest.
- Squeeze your inner chest as you bring the dumbbells back together
- Have a slight bend in your elbows
- It is easy to compensate with your shoulders during the exercise, so we want to focus on using our pecs rather than our shoulders for this entire movement
- When we are fully open, we want to feel a stretch in our pecs, and activate them to bring the dumbbells back in.
- If you are feeling this more in your shoulders, try keeping the Dumbbells in line with your mid to lower chest, rather than your shoulders. This should engage your chest more and hopefully relieve some stress on your shoulders.
