Incline Dumbbell Chest Press
Chest
- Very similar to flat dumbbell chest presses, however we are now targeting our upper chest.
- Squeeze your inner chest as you bring the dumbbells back together
- We do not want to overextend or put too much pressure on our shoulders, so we lower the dumbbells to just above chest height. We do not need to lower them any more than that.
- When we are fully open, we want to feel a stretch in our pecs, and activate them to bring the dumbbells back in.
- Keep the Dumbbells in line with your mid to lower chest.
- For better form, push your feet firmly into the ground and keep your lower back flat on the bench. When we lift our lower backs, we end up changing the angle that we are pushing at, turning this incline press into more of a flat press.
