Seated Calf Raise

Legs, Calves

1. Start sitting on a seated calf raise machine with your thighs tight under the pads. (There are many different looks and styles of machines)
2. Press through the balls of your feet to lift the pads/weight up.
3. Squeeze your calves and hold at the top of the movement.
4. Control the movement as you lower back to the starting position.
- Slow and controlled movements are needed in order to engage your calves. Do not do fast bouncing movements.
- Sit up straight and do not hunch forward or arch your back.
