Single Arm Tricep Extensions on Machine
Triceps
1. Start on a Tricep Extension Machine with one hand on the respective handle and your elbow and tricep against the pad.
2. Using your Tricep, push the handle downward.
3. At the peak of the motion squeeze and engage your tricep.
4. Control the movement as your raise the handle back up to the starting position.
- Keep your spine straight, chest up, and core engaged.
- Do not use momentum. This movement is about control and strength in your triceps.
- If you are performing a "Negative" Single Arm Tricep Extension, push the handles down using both arms, but then release one arm and SLOWLY raise the handles back up to the starting position only using the the single arm that is still holding the handles. Controlling this movement will full engage your tricep.
