Single Leg Burpees

Full Body, Cardio

- These are the same movements as your standard burpee, however everything is done from one leg.
- Start by standing with your feet hip-width apart. The lift one foot off the ground.
- Bend down to put your hands on the ground
- Keeping one foot up, jump your supporting foot back and do one push-up
- Jump that foot back in toward your hands
- From this position, we reach our hands up overhead and jump straight up from that one leg.
- Land with soft knees and land through your toes
- Make sure to keep your elbows in when you are doing the push-up. We do not want them to flare out.
- Keep your core engaged to avoid any arching or hunching of the back. This will also stabilize you since you will feel a bit off balance only using one leg.
