Trunk Twists
Core
- Start with the cable in a middle position about ribcage height.
- Stand with your feet no further than shoulder width apart.
- Have a slight bend in your elbows and extend the handle directly in front of your chest.
- When we twist from side to side, we want to keep the handle in front of our chests the entire time. By keeping it still in this position, we will be forced to activate our cores to do this movement.
- Control the entire motion. Do not swing from side to side.
- Squeeze your obliques at the peak of the motion when your are fully twisted.
